DigiBouw and Jaarbeurs strive for a sustainable future. This is how we make more impact together. Here are 5 handy tips for a sustainable day at DigiBouw.

1. Come by public transportation

Jaarbeurs is located to Utrecht Central Station and is perfectly accessible by train, streetcar and bus. Are you coming by car anyway? Travel together as much as possible. In the event app you will find information about available parking spaces at Jaarbeurs. Parking space full? Then choose one of the P+R locations nearby.

2. Download the event app

Your ticket can be found in the event app. Download the app and show the QR code on your ticket at the entrance. Use the app to navigate around the event and find exhibitors, speakers and activities. A program booklet is thus a thing of the past. Together, we save many thousands of tons of paper each year.

3. Deliver your waste separately

Inside all Jaarbeurs buildings you will find separate waste bins. Materials such as paper and plastic are thus largely reused. This saves new raw materials, energy and money.

4. Take a sustainable bite

Discover vegetarian, local and seasonal dishes at the restaurants.

Thirsty? Use your own water bottle. That way we collectively use tons less plastic and you always have something to drink on hand.

5. Donate your deposit

Plastic bottle or can left over? Recycle it in the container provided and donate the deposit to the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology. This way you contribute to the environment and to a good cause.
