Digitalization in the construction industry has long since moved beyond BIM models, apps, and dashboards. Increasingly, the focus is on how people, processes, and technology come together on the construction site. At DigiBouw, Comcross and Nialli will demonstrate how audiovisual technology and digital lean planning can contribute to better collaboration, greater clarity, and more efficient execution of construction projects.
The Breda-based company specializes in audiovisual solutions for conference rooms, construction site offices, project sites, and collaborative environments. Together with its software partner Nialli, Comcross supports construction companies in their transition from traditional planning boards to an interactive, digital workflow.
“Many organizations recognize the benefits of lean planning, but run into limitations as soon as projects grow larger or teams collaborate across multiple locations,” says Leendert Louter of Comcross. “By combining analog processes with the power of digital technology, we create a single, up-to-date schedule to which everyone can contribute, while fostering a sense of ownership and facilitating communication.”
Nialli’s solution is a digital adaptation of the well-known Last Planner System. Teams can plan together, monitor progress, and discuss bottlenecks, while all changes are immediately visible to everyone involved. Comcross provides the audiovisual technology and handles its integration into project spaces and construction environments.
According to Leendert, this approach aligns well with developments in the industry. “Construction is becoming increasingly complex. Contractors, subcontractors, and clients need up-to-date information and rapid coordination. Digital lean planning helps make that collaboration more transparent and effective.”
Participating in DigiBouw is therefore a logical step for Comcross. The event brings together construction companies, technology providers, and innovators who are seeking practical applications for digitalization. At the trade show, visitors can experience how digital collaboration environments function in practice and what role audiovisual technology plays in this.
One of the highlights is the joint theater session hosted by Comcross, Nialli, and Learningwaves on Wednesday, November 25, at 2:05 p.m. During this session, the organizations will share practical experiences and demonstrate how digital lean planning can contribute to greater control over projects, better communication between teams, and greater predictability in the construction process.
For visitors who view digitization not as an end in itself, but as a means to better organize projects, the collaboration between Comcross, Nialli, and Learningwaves offers an interesting perspective on the construction site of the future.
