DigiC (Digitalization in the Circular Construction Economy), an innovation program of ROM Utrecht Region, is participating in DigiBouw 2024. DigiC encourages innovation, public-private collaboration and knowledge sharing within the circular construction economy, with a focus on factory building, digitization of materials and smart construction logistics.

"Digitization is crucial for the transition to a circular construction economy," said Jaimy Nijnens, DigiC program manager. "DigiBouw provides an excellent platform to highlight this aspect of construction. We are proud to be a partner of DigiBouw 2024."

DigiC will be staffing a booth with Stamhuis. Stamhuis, a leading organization in the field of store conversions and retail improvements, as well as operating independently on new construction, additions and remodeling projects, offers solutions for supporting primary processes in the construction column with their product Building Virtuality.

Knowledge sessions
DigiC is hosting four knowledge sessions at DigiBouw. One session, hosted by Stamhuis, is about dynamic 3D-BIM models. These models are essential for reusing materials in a circular construction economy, but keeping them up-to-date is challenging. The session focuses on discussing these challenges and finding solutions.

Innobrix is hosting a session on their SaaS solution for online configuration and ordering of new construction homes. This session will cover current issues and pain points in the construction industry. The other two sessions will be announced soon.

With its participation, DigiC underscores its commitment to innovation, knowledge sharing and matchmaking. "We look forward to working with our partners to share knowledge and discover the future of the circular construction industry."
