At DigiBouw being held this week at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, Techniek Nederland is presenting a comprehensive study on the significance of AI, robotization and industrialization for the industry. It will be extensively covered at the fair.

In an interview with Construction and Installation Hub, program manager for innovation at Techniek Nederland Terry Heemskerk stated that the most striking thing about the report is the rapid advance of AI over the past year. When they started the survey, robotization was still in first place, but AI is developing so fast that it claimed first place. "No one could have seen that coming," he says.

Everyone agrees that AI can be disruptive. Organizations that want to be relevant in the future will really have to delve into AI. But according to Heemskerk, that doesn't mean they have to dive completely into the technology. "You have to focus on what AI can do for your business. Try to get a clear view of that.'
